Job Description:
Role Purpose:
We are the Global Immigration team, with colleagues across London, New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, and we manage full lifecycle immigration requirements for An American Mass Media and Entertainment Conglomerate Company worldwide. The stakeholders we serve have dynamic needs, and our team works hard to ensure best practices are in place to deliver excellent results.

You will be a critical team member providing strategic US immigration advice to our businesses, sport events, and TV & film productions.

Job Duties:
  • Draft, review, and file NIV and IV applications with USCIS, DOL, and consulates
  • Analyze employee and candidate profiles to provide comprehensive assessments that advise stakeholders on visa options, sponsorship lifecycle requirements, and projected costs & timelines
  • Review immigration and civil documentation for potential issues and risks to advise stakeholders on applicable remedies and proposed resolutions
  • Instruct outside counsel as appropriate and engage in high touch case management with visa dependent population
  • Maintain careful records to generate regular reporting
  • Provide immigration compliance advice on I-9 employment eligibility verification processes and requirements
  • Build partnerships with Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and Global Mobility teams to enhance employee immigration support
  • Work closely with Sr. Counsel on policy development, process enhancements, and continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:
Basic Requirements:
  • JD from an accredited law school and member in good standing of the California State Bar
  • 2+ years of business immigration experience at a law firm. Experience drafting NIV and IV cases required
