We're looking for a talented lawyer to support our dynamic An American Multinational Technology Company Air business, which operates a global air cargo network with a fleet of over 100 cargo aircraft serving more than 70 airports in North America, Europe, and Asia. This includes An American Multinational Technology Company Air's central hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport that's powered by cutting-edge An American Multinational Technology Company Robotics technology, which is one of eight An American Multinational Technology Company-operated hubs and among the most significant facilities of its kind. You'll be embedded with the An American Multinational Technology Company Air team, partnering with the business working to continually improve the experiences of our customers and optimize An American Multinational Technology Company logistics network and service offerings. You'll serve as counsel on operational, safety, regulatory, and commercial matters, in addition to helping shape longer term strategy and resolving issues that arise in our relationships with airline partners, cargo customers, airports, and service providers worldwide. You'll develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and build processes that address risk to give the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of Seattle, WA (preferred) or Arlington, VA. Some travel, domestic and international, may be required.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of legal practice experience
  • J.D. degree and membership in at least one state bar

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A mix of law firm and in-house and/or government experience
  • Experience working in the aviation and/or logistics sectors on regulatory and/or transactional matters
  • Ability to work effectively and demonstrate sound judgment in fast-paced, ambiguous situations
  • Experience in representing corporate clients
  • Ability to work independently while contributing successfully to cross-functional teams
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build rapport with and earn trust of business partners
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
