A Full-Service Commercial Law Firm, a large Salt Lake City law firm, seeks a tax associate with 3-5 years of law firm experience to join its Tax and Estate Planning practice group.The ideal candidate will have general tax experience with corporations, partnerships, and a variety of business tax issues; some experience with tax-exempt organizations, real estate transactions, state and local taxation, or employee benefits is a plus. An LL.M. in tax or accounting background would be helpful but is not required. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, demonstrate a commitment to ethics, be highly motivated and hard-working, and be able to work with minimal supervision. Excellent research and writing skills are critical. Candidates must be a member of the Utah Bar or be willing to take the Utah Bar. If not currently a member of the Utah Bar, applicants must belong to the Bar of another U.S. state.
