We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our rapidly growing and innovative law firm. You will primarily be dealing with the major car manufacturers where you will be litigating California Lemon Law Attorneys claims.Ideal candidate will have excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently. Candidate should have strong advocacy skills and a competitive spirit. Active membership in the CA State Bar, in good standing, is required.
The job entails discovery, taking and defending depositions, appearances, vehicle inspections, creative litigation approaches and potentially trials & trial preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Draft motions
- Court appearances
- Vehicle inspections
- Negotiate settlements
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and respond to discovery
- Assess case value and strategy
- Maximize client recovery
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a plaintiff's attorney, ideally in California Lemon Law Attorneys, product liability or consumer law
- Ability to handle an aggressive caseload
- Thorough and detailed organization skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients and defense counsel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A competitive and collaborative spirit
