Trial Lawyers is a trial firm, representing clients in all phases of litigation in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Our attorneys have extensive experience representing clients in pre-suit legal claims through trial and the appellate process. In addition to excellent legal research and writing skills, we are seeking attorneys interested in interacting with clients, courts, and other trial lawyers. Our firm's close-knit environment of highly experienced trial lawyers and collaborative team approach give attorneys the resources needed to be successful and the opportunity to grow in litigation practice.We are currently seeking graduating students and lawyers at all experience levels interested in both civil litigation and trial practice areas to join our St. Louis office.
Responsibilities:
- Managing caseload for pre-suit, litigation, and post-suit matters
- Preparing legal pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and other filings
- Conducting legal and factual research on various case-related issues
- Analyzing and strategizing legal claims and defenses
- Communicating with clients, team, and partners, providing timely reporting
- Appearing in court hearings and depositions
Qualifications:
- Active Missouri law license; Illinois or other additional license a plus
- Courtroom experience preferred
- Excellent analytic, research and writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
