Are you drawn to helping those in need? Would you like to help us serve those whose lives are upended by a serious medical problem and loss of a paying job?The ideal candidate for this position has compassion for the difficult situations our clients endure and can acquire these skills:
- In depth knowledge of Social Security's standard for disability
- Ability to connect with the client and conduct a careful interview to obtain a full understanding of the claim
- Ability to review medical records and apply the information to Social Security's disability standard.
- To advocate on the client's behalf to Social Security Administrative Law Judges
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of law school with strong academic record
- Admitted to the Bar (Massachusetts preferred, but not required)
- Professional, ethical approach to problem solving
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
