Are you looking to work with experienced attorneys and paralegals who will give you opportunities to further your legal career? If so, we are looking for you! Our firm is hiring an associate attorney who will work with us by conducting legal research, drafting documents, maintaining client files, meeting with clients and experts and appearing in court. The ideal candidate will have some courtroom experience and strong legal research and writing skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
  • Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
  • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
  • Prepare correspondences and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
  • Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently

Qualifications:
  • Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
  • Candidates must have passed the bar exam and possess a current State of California Bar Card
  • Juris doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
  • Effective communications skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff, clients and opposing counsel
  • Experience propounding and responding to all forms of discovery
  • Ability to manage your own caseload from inception to case resolution
