Our law firm, with offices in Virginia Beach, Newport News, Williamsburg, and Gloucester, is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a talented Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team.Duties:
- Litigate cases in court on behalf of clients
- Negotiate settlements and agreements with opposing parties
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice and guidance
- Represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings
- Prepare for and participate in trials and hearings
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex cases
- Admission to Virginia State Bar
- Recent law school graduate or attorney with a 1-3 years of experience.
- Demonstrated interest in litigation and a strong desire to develop your skills in this practice area.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
