Responsibilities:

Managing, strategizing, and organizing all case files with a limited caseload.
Supervising support staff who assist with caseload, ensuring that all cases in the litigation department are on track and moving forward.
Maintaining regular communication with clients and opposing counsel.
Writing and reviewing legal correspondence.
Creating legal pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
Responding to written discovery and opposing motions.
Conducting and defending depositions.
Attending court hearings.
Preparing for trials and participating in them.
Achieving firm targets and benchmarks.

Qualifications:

Must possess an active license to practice law in California and maintain good standing with the California State Bar.
Should have at least 1 year of experience working as a litigator in California.
While experience in employment law is preferred, it is not mandatory as we offer comprehensive training in this area for candidates with a strong litigation background.
Excellent legal writing abilities and a keen attention to detail are essential.
