We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Personal Injury Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in handling complex personal injury cases, demonstrating exceptional legal acumen, and providing strategic guidance to clients. As a Personal Injury Attorney, you will play a pivotal role in leading cases, mentoring and supervising case managers, and contributing to the overall success and growth of our firm.Responsibilities:
- Supervise pre-litigation case managers and ensure that they are successfully advancing the firm's cases.
- Conduct a thorough examination of demand letters to verify the inclusion of all relevant details and ensure that the requested compensation is commensurate with the case.
- Utilize highly effective negotiating skills to recover the maximum compensation possible for each pre-litigation case.
- Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
- Keep files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
- Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
Qualifications:
- Must possess at least 3-5 years of personal injury experience
- Supervisory experience is a plus
- Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients
- Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D. degree) from an accredited law school
- Active membership with the American Bar Association (ABA)
- Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam
