Description:
An Insurance Attorney is searching for an associate to manage a growing storm damage insurance claim docket.The duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
- Manage all cases assigned to docket from pre-litigation negotiations to standard litigation responsibilities such as drafting, mediation, depositions, attending hearings, and trial.
- Research case law to analyze precedents or similar cases.
- Establish a professional rapport with all clients.
- Manage all staff assigned to docket.
- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
- Experience negotiating first-party insurance claims.
- Familiarity with Local Rules and adept at researching Local Rules.
- Excellent time management.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently as well as manage staff.
