Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts
- Represent clients in court proceedings and litigate on their behalf
- Provide legal administrative support to senior attorneys
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Research and write legal memoranda and opinions
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, with zero to three years of experience in a legal setting.
- Admission to the bar in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Proficiency in legal research tools like Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent legal drafting skills
- Ability to litigate cases effectively
- Strong negotiation skills
