A Boutique Law Firm, a civil litigation and commercial transaction firm with a national practice, is seeking experienced associate attorneys to join our Illinois practice. MSB is a mid-sized law firm with offices in Illinois, Florida, Kansas, California, Louisiana and Pennsylvania. We focus on commercial litigation and transactions with a strong emphasis on consumer financial services litigation and compliance, defending financial services companies in litigation and assisting with maintaining compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Whether your passion is business transactions, legal writing, in-depth discovery, trial work or appellate advocacy, we offer the chance to build your strengths and hone your skills in a casual and congenial environment designed to help all our team members succeed. If hired you will be involved in all stages of transactions from client strategy meetings to closing the deal. Similarly, on the litigation matters you will be involved from pre-suit discussions through trial and appeal. In each case you will work closely with our team to achieve outstanding results for our clients.Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Illinois; licensure in other states is a bonus, but not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills and can work both independently and within larger groups and teams. Experience in business transactions. federal civil litigation and the financial services industry is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
