A Government Contracts Attorney is a business law firm serving government contractors and large and small private sector commercial clients. PM is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced litigator with a minimum of 4 years of experience in private practice and specific experience as first or second-chair litigation counsel for an associate position in our government contracts litigation practice. Applicants should have a strong work ethic and advanced understanding of discovery processes. Although no prior government contracts experience is necessary, applicants should have a concerted interest in government contracts claims and appeals litigation and the Federal Acquisition Regulations System (the “FAR”).

A Government Contracts Attorney's nationwide government contracts claims and appeals practice focuses heavily on complex claims and appeals under the Contracts Disputes Act as well as at the Boards of Contract Appeals and the US Court of Federal Claims. The practice involves all stages of contract disputes with the federal government, as well as state governments, including requests for equitable adjustment, CDA claims, arbitration, mediation, and non-claim disputes with governmental entities. In addition, our government contracts litigators assist clients with FAR interpretations, FAR Part 49 cure and show cause notice responses, audits and investigation defenses, and False Claims Act defense work.
