Job Description:
- Handling the day to day matters in their assigned cases
- Drafting settlement demand letters, complaints, motions
- Taking and Defending depositions
- Propounding and Responding to Discovery
- Handling Court appearances
- Attending Mediations and Settlement Conferences
- Experience in handling plaintiff wage-and-hour class actions (preferred)
- Experience with employment litigation
- Drafting Class Certification Motions, Class-wide settlement agreements, preliminary and final approval motions (preferred)
- Helping prepare for trial and attend trial with supervising attorney
Experience:
Employment & labor law: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- California Bar Membership in Good Standing (Required)
