Responsibilities:

Assist senior attorneys in handling insurance defense matters, including research, document preparation, and case management.
Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to develop strategies and arguments for cases.
Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
Prepare for and attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.

Requirements:

Must have a valid Florida Bar membership.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
While experience in insurance defense matters is not required, candidates with relevant legal experience will be preferred.
Strong legal research and writing skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in using legal research tools and technology.
