Our firm is seeking an attorney for our Community Association practice group. This role offers a motivated and ambitious attorney the opportunity to work on complex and challenging issues related to condominium associations, homeowners associations and cooperatives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general counsel services to condominium associations, homeowner associations and cooperatives
- Spearhead matters involving corporate governance and disputes between members
- Assist in community association transition and construction defect claims
- Assist in collections for community associations
- Advise and ensure clients are in compliance with all legal standards and regulations
Requirements:
- Community Association experience: 2+ years
- Deep understanding of corporate governance and all local, federal, and state laws related to condos and co-ops
- Experience with residential, commercial and mixed-use condos and co-op disputes
- New Jersey – Required
- New York - Preferred

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
