Our firm is seeking an attorney for our Community Association practice group. This role offers a motivated and ambitious attorney the opportunity to work on complex and challenging issues related to condominium associations, homeowners associations and cooperatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide general counsel services to condominium associations, homeowner associations and cooperatives
  • Spearhead matters involving corporate governance and disputes between members
  • Assist in community association transition and construction defect claims
  • Assist in collections for community associations
  • Advise and ensure clients are in compliance with all legal standards and regulations

Requirements:
  • Community Association experience: 2+ years
  • Deep understanding of corporate governance and all local, federal, and state laws related to condos and co-ops
  • Experience with residential, commercial and mixed-use condos and co-op disputes
  • New Jersey – Required
  • New York - Preferred
