Role Description:This is a full-time role for an Associate Attorney in the field of Civil Litigation (insurance defense) at Civil Litigation Attorneys. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling civil litigation and insurance defense matters, including providing legal advice, conducting depositions and research, attending court conferences, negotiating settlements, reviewing medical records and discovery and representing clients in court. This is a hybrid role, with the primary location being in Meriden, CT, but flexibility for remote work is available.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of law, specifically civil litigation and insurance defense
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to provide sound legal advice to clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Relevant experience in handling civil litigation and insurance defense matters is a plus
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
