Job Summary:
Assistant District Attorneys in A Government Entity handle a variety of duties including responding to questions/concerns from citizens and police officers, working with officers to prepare search warrants and court orders, preparing and responding to motions, handling court hearings at magisterial district courts and the Court of Common Pleas, conducting trials before juries and judges, and making informed sentencing recommendations to the court. The job is demanding but incredibly rewarding for anyone who wants to make a real difference in people's lives. You must be admitted to the Pennsylvania bar. Prior prosecutorial experience preferred but not required. Strong work ethic, good judgment, and positive attitude a must.
