Responsibilities:
The Office of Operational Review is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Director of Operational Review. The Assistant Director will report to the Director of Operational Review and will assist in contractual, operational, and performance standards review and development, federal and state regulatory compliance, research, and implementation of key elements of the University's Strategic Plan.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting contracts.
  • Conduct research and analysis on federal and state regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Assist in policy analysis and development.
  • Work collaboratively across University departments.
  • Manage a diverse set of responsibilities in a dynamic University environment.
  • Work on special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director and Associate Director.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor for an ABA accredited law school
  • Licensure to practice law in the State of Louisiana
  • 3 years of experience performing legal work

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in college/university operations and contract transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of contracts law and related legal principles is also preferable.
  • The desired candidate should also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and function both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
